- dix succès pour Giacomo Agostini ITA au GP d'Allemagne entre 1965 et 1976 (9 de suite) et au GP de Finlande.
- sept succès de suite pour Valentino Rossi ITA au GP d'Italie (2002 à 2008).
Recordman des participations : 430 Grands Prix depuis ses débuts au GP de Malaisie en 1996 pour l'Italien Valentino Rossi. L'ancien record appartenait à son compatriote Loris Capirossi avec 328 Grands Prix. Rossi l'a dépassé au GP de Malaisie en 2015.
Recordman de Grand Prix disputés consécutivement : 163 par Valentino Rossi puis 158 par Alex Barros.
Recordman des points remportés dans une saison : 383 points par Jorge Lorenzo en 2010 puis 373 points par Valentino Rossi en 2008.
Recordman de vitesse : 362,4 km/h par le Français Johann Zarco lors des essais libres du GP du Qatar en 2021.

Inédit : en 2014 les frères espagnols Marc et Alex Marquez sont devenus champions du monde (Moto GP pour Marc et Moto 3 pour son frère cadet Alex). Jamais encore dans l'histoire des Grands Prix, deux frères avaient réussi à conquérir un titre mondial et en plus la même année. En 2025, Marc remporte son 7eme titre mondial en MotoGP tandis que son frère est vice-champion du monde.
