Surf - Les champions du Monde Amateurs ISA (International Surfing Association) - Article du : 16/09/2019

L'ISA, International Surfing Association, organise chaque année des championnats du monde (World Surfing Games) réservés aux amateurs dans plusieurs catégories. La 55e édition a eu lieu à Miyazaki au Japon en 2019 avec l'objectif de se qualifier pour les Jeux Olympiques de 2020.

Créé en 1964, le siège de l'ISA se trouve à La Jolla en Californie.

A noter que le surf est devenu un sport olympique pour les JO de 2020 à Tokyo.

Le Pays Basque français a accueilli l'édition 2017 du 20 au 28 mai à Biarritz sur La Grande Plage.
